got a new panaosnic hd lumix digital camera and decided first thing to do is make a test video, so i shot a lot of different items in a school and how it zooms in and keeps its pixels held really well. shoots in either 720p or 1080p im not sure.

Digital cameras can do time or bulb exposures very well, even cheaper models. My older Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ8 has a Night scene Starry sky mode with selections of 15, 30 or 60 seconds bulb exposures. The pictures taken can have a very dramatic effect. This camera also has manual exposure so you can make more adjustments. Your digital cameras probably have a lot of functions you are not using. Dig it out and have some fun with it.
